It was the best New Year's resolution my wife and I never made - a trip to Israel, Egypt, Greece and Jordan.
It was not on the family schedule when '96 first entered the scene, but it was a trip that will affect the rest of my years.
When you visit the places where Jesus Christ was born and died, and the Resurrection Tomb and garden - where we had the Lord's supper - the meaning of the words in the Bible burn in your mind and heart.
You walk where Jesus walked, you see where He preached, you visit the scene of the Last Supper, you follow his cross-bearing path on the Via Dolorosa and you see Golgotha ...
