SUFFOLK -- In his mind, the homes that Herman Ervin works on - Victorian, Colonial, traditional, Queen Anne - are never circa this or circa that.
The houses are all just ``real old.'' And he'll tell you that with an unconcerned chuckle and a twinkle in his eyes.
Ervin is more concerned with making the houses, no matter their age, appear just as they did when they were built, often centuries ago.
He's a wizard with wood, those who know his work say, a master craftsman when it comes to carving history out of wood and bringing it into the present.
