Scientists are ecstatic over a finding that Homo erectus, an early species of human kind, has been hanging around as recently as 27,000 years ago.

That is merely a wink in eternity. It is practically yesterday on evolution's long and twisting road.

What the scientists regard as a discovery doesn't surprise me.

I see hundreds of Homo erectus all the time. Like 'em, in fact, for the most part. Had a heated discussion with one the other day. And lost. (To lose in a just cause is about as close as we come to death without dying.)
