Jim Muse has a chore which most folks probably would relish, how to divvy up the $81,635 he won last weekend.
Muse, 26, an art major at Virginia Commonwealth University, won that much by catching a state-record 61-pound, 12-ounce striped bass in the Deltaville Benefit Rockfish Tournament.
In addition to the contest's $5,000 top prize, he also won $50,000 from a sporting goods store and a $26,635 pickup from a tackle firm, all for breaking the Virginia striper record.
The striped bass mark is, arguably, the most coveted of all Virginia gamefish records.
