NORFOLK -- The biggest passenger ship in the world isn't just coming to Hampton Roads next weekend to take on her first paying passengers.
The 101,000-ton Carnival Destiny will also make a ``hey-look-me-over'' cruise down the Elizabeth River to Town Point Park in the early-morning hours of Nov. 15 to give us a look at what big really is.
It's like this: The Carnival Destiny is much larger than the battleship Wisconsin that glided down the Elizabeth a couple of weeks ago, larger even than the 96,000- to 98,000-ton Nimitz-class aircraft carriers based here.
