HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. -- Former PTL televangelist Jim Bakker's name has been used in a direct-mail campaign to benefit his daughter and a church ministry he helped create, though associates say he is banned from fund raising under terms of his parole, a Dallas newspaper reported Saturday.
Bakker gave his prison writings, a collection of PTL memorabilia and even his federal parole papers to raise funds for his daughter's fledgling ministry, The Dallas Morning News reported.
