The Rochester Area Jaycees are hosting a Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction for Tyson Allen. The donations raised will help finance Tyson's stay at Johns Hopkins and his mother's (a single parent) cost of living while in Maryland.
Tyson is a 13-year old boy who has undergone over 100 surgeries on his brain and spine to correct a condition called Psuedo Tumor Cerebri. This condition causes the brain to react like it has a tumor but there is no tumor. This causes a build up of spinal fluid in his brain, called hydrocephalus.
