THIS Easter will see a flurry of activity by DIY enthusiasts who are expected to spend around pounds 2.5 billion on home improvements. with each spending an average of pounds 399.
Thousands of people across the UK will spend the Easter weekend up ladders or in the garden.
And the population will spend more than 100 million hours over the Easter period doing painting, decorating and other home improvements, according to the independent study commissioned by the UK's largest insurer Norwich Union.
