NEW YORK -- Fashion will continue to gain ground with the art world -- while it cements its longtime commitment towards AIDS-related charities -- when Madison Avenue: Where Fashion Meets Art kicks off on April 30.
More than 60 Madison Avenue retailers, with boutiques between East 57th and 86th streets, will participate in the two-week charity event that will benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. The fundraiser was organized by the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District, according to Matthew Bauer, the group's president.
