Robert Monks is a man on a mission.
After a 20-year career in shareholder activism and investment management, Monks has pulled out of his fund-running, and turned to his favorite cause-getting value for shareholders by going after management.
Last month, Monks officially launched his Web site ragm.com-named for his own initials. The site is geared toward policy makers and institutional investors, he said.
"It's a central place to urge a theme: Activism adds value," said Monks in an interview.
