Apr. 16--TOWN OF RANTOUL, Wis.--From a distance, Wholesome Dairy doesn't look like a typical Wisconsin dairy farm.
No silos or large red barns dot the 360 acres south of Brillion. Tractors don't idle in the driveway while cows mill around a pasture, swatting flies with their tails.
Instead, two 14,000-square-foot shiny silver barns stretch to the horizon behind a building designed to hold feed and other commodities. Inside, about 3,000 cows stand in stalls, chewing their feed, waiting to rotate to the milking parlor.
