NORFOLK -- Virginia Symphony Music Director JoAnn Falletta has a knack for putting together a program that may seem lightweight on paper, yet work quite well in the concert hall. On Saturday night, Falletta was again at work, coaxing thrilling sounds from the Symphony's musicians in music that other maestros might pass by.
