Next June, a five star hotel of the Hyatt hotel chain will start operating in Mendoza city. The owner is Samuel Liberman who associated with the American chain Hyatt. It will be a US$60mil investment. The hotel in Mendoza was built in the same location where the Plaza Hotel was which was founded in 1928 and operated until 1998. The new owners kept the original facade of the hotel and all the rest is new. This hotel will have a casino and the main target of the hotel chain will be businessmen and corporate conventions.
