3COM AND AGILIS ANNOUNCE FIRST WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK
USING THE 3+ NETWORK OPERATING SYSTEM
SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- 3Com Corp. (NASDAQ: COMS) and Agilis Corp. today announced the first wireless local area network (LAN) that operates with 3Com's 3+ network operating system. A wireless LAN allows computer users to share information and services without a physical connection between computers. Agilis is finalizing an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationship with 3Com to sell 3+ with the Packet Radio slice of the Agilis system.
