"Sip and surf at Dunn Bros Coffee" could become a slogan, as the result of an unsual business deal that will bring free high-speed Internet access to patrons at 15 of its area shops.
Though several such "cyber cafes" charge a fee for Internet access along with their double-lattes, the arrangement between Dunn Bros and Time Warner Cable marks the first time a coffee shop chain in the Twin Cities has offered a free service.
The Dunn Bros store on Lyndale Avenue in Richfield is the first to offer the free Web surfing. The company said it will limit customers' Web sessions to 20 minutes each, on six 600-megahertz PCs. The machines are connected to three ...
