At Wellcraft's Saltwater Fishing School, the instructors are tournament top guns and the classrooms are high-caliber fishing boats.
One of my angling companions leans back and starts cranking in line on his bowed spinning rod while Capt. Shawn Mechella and I jockey for position in the cockpit of the Wellcraft 270. Although we've heard that redfish run hot at this time of year in coastal Georgia, it's been a slow day of fishing--until now.
