Apr. 19--The Holtze Hotel in Lower Downtown will change its name to Magnolia Denver Hotel as part of its corporate parent's effort to establish a stronger national brand.
Denver-based Stevens Holtze Corp. operates the Holtze Hotel at 17th and Stout streets and the Magnolia Hotel in Dallas. The company is about to close on a Houston property, which it plans to renovate and open by summer 2002. It also plans to expand to other cities.
