BUICK TO SPONSOR PGA TOUR STOP AT WESTCHESTER COUNTRY CLUB
FLINT, Mich., June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning in 1990, the PGA Tour stop at Westchester Country Club in Harrison, N.Y., will be sponsored by Buick Motor Division and will be called the "Buick Classic," Robert E. Coletta, Buick general sales and service manager, said today.
Buick, which celebrates its 25th Buick Open in Grand Blanc, Mich., this year, is the only company with two title sponsorships on the PGA Tour. It is also the longest-running corporate sponsor of the PGA Tour.
