Thomson Financial, provider of e-information and integrated work solutions to the worldwide financial community, announced today the acquisition of an additional 60% interest in Invest Tracker Tecnologia (ITT), a provider of mutual fund data, content and analytics to Brazilian institutional and retail investors. This acquisition is in addition to an existing 20% investment made in January 2000, therefore providing Thomson Financial with majority equity in the organization. ITT products and services will be rolled into Thomson Financial's Wiesenberger product suite.
