OSHA ORDERED TO RECONSIDER FORMALDEHYDE STANDARD

WASHINGTON (FNS) -- Handing organized labor a significant victory over the textile and apparel industries, a federal appeals court has ordered the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to reconsider the OSHA standard for worker exposure to formaldehyde, a chemical used in the durable-press treatment of textiles.
