The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Ohio Emergency Management Agency (EMA) will hold a joint news conference June 16, 1989 at 1 p.m. in the Federal Building, 1240 E. 9th Street and Lakeside Avenue, in the small business administration office.

Representatives from FEMA and Ohio EMA will provide location of Disaster Assistance Centers (DAC) for Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Cuyahoga counties, as well as the hours and number of days each DAC will be open. Individuals who suffered losses due to the recent heavy rains and flooding can apply for federal financial assistance at the DACs which will begin opening on June 17, 1989.
