Navy Federal Credit Union has sent a letter to the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) outlining seven proposed actions the agency could take to "remove unnecessary restrictions and requirements on credit unions."
"NCUA has excellent opportunities within the existing legislative framework to respond to the needs of the credit union movement. RegFlex and the incidental powers rules are examples of positive steps NCUA is taking, but it could do more," said Brian McDonnell, CEO/President of Navy Federal.
