Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced that Motorola Japan Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NTT Software Corporation to develop and provide the "Voice Internet Platform" to Japan. The "Voice Internet Platform" will provide voice-accessibility to many services that are currently available in today's Internet environments, such as voice access to traffic information, weather reports, and stock quotes. Both Motorola and NTT Software will perform the development, integration and localization of the product for enterprise, ASP, and ISP use.
