NEW DELHI, April 25 Asia Pulse - Debt funds have managed to beat equity funds by generating positive returns during 2000-2001.
Data released by mutual fund research firm, Value Research, shows that an across-the-board drop in share prices in the previous fiscal year has led to negative returns or depreciation in the performance of all equity funds, including balanced funds, with debt funds gaining at their expense.
