Introduction
In conventional silver halide photography, the final output is displayed as a print or slide with the choice usually based on whether the initial image was made on slide or print film. In digital imaging we can do the same, but photographing off the screen (POTS) or utilizing a service bureau's film recorder to produce slides proved to be awkward for many, but defaulting to generate one's own digital prints became an expedient and satisfying solution.
