The Uruguayan Executive Power will authorise through a decree the beginning of a dumping investigation which includes two Argentinean vegetable oil manufacturing companies. Sources in the sector said the main company affected by these imports is Cousa (Compania Oleaginosa Uruguaya S.A). The imports of mixed cooking oil are not following the private agreement signed between Uruguayan and Argentinean companies. Cousa concentrates 50% of the cooking oil market in Uruguay, with brands like Optimo, Primor, Sibarita, Uruguay and Sarandi.
