Inter-Cal Nutraceuticals, a division of Zila, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZILA) and developer of branded, value-added ingredients and technologies for the global nutritional and cosmeceutical industries, announced that based on preliminary independent research, the Company has applied for an international patent covering the use of Ester-C(R) mineral ascorbate to treat cancer in humans.
