The NBA playoffs began Saturday. I presume you've taken the proper precautions, like checking to see if your HMO covers damage suffered from prolonged exposure to Bill Walton and Hubie Brown.
The playoffs ask a lot of us. The sheer stamina required to even casually follow the NBA's trek into May and onto June would tax an Ethiopian marathoner.
Four games were on television Saturday; four more are on the tube today. Each series is dragged out for the purposes of TV scheduling, often with three days between games.
Who has that much time?
A suggestion: Go outside. Cut the grass. Play golf. Ride a bicycle. ...
