LONDON, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Despite the first strike in over 50 years involving all London trains, buses and subways, which crippled the city, 29,000 people packed Crystal Palace National Sports Center for the start of a second series of Mission 89 meetings with Evangelist Billy Graham.
The attendance broke a stadium record set in 1982, when 27,000 people attended a meeting addressed by Pope John Paul II.
