Playing their first-ever "home game" in Washington State's Martin Stadium, the Idaho Vandals made themselves right at home Saturday with four second half touchdowns and beat the Cougars on their own turf for the first time since Lyndon Johnson was in the White House.
The 28-17 Idaho win represented the 11th straight loss for the Cougars and handed Mike Price one of his most embarrassing losses in 11 years as WSU head coach.
"We've got to live with it all year," Price said. "They're playing in our stadium. . . . It couldn't be worse."
