Dorothy Draper & Co. continues a longstanding relationship with the legendary resort.
Two American legends are The Greenbrier, the rambling resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, and Dorothy Draper. Their relationship goes back to 1946, when Mrs. Draper was hired to refurbish the hotel after its long wartime hiatus, during which it had beencommandeered by the U.S. Army and turned into a 2,200-bed hospital. In Mrs. Draper's hands, army drab was out and great splashes of color in bold floral prints and broad stripes were in.
