NEW YORK -- Savvy chain drug retailers are doing everything in their power to attract young shoppers to their stores, and trendy beauty care items, such as Universal Products' Komb In Hot Head, offer just such an opportunity, according to Gary Rosenthal, the brand's marketing director.
"This unique hair coloring product is specifically targeted to the teen market," says Rosenthal. "These children of baby boomers have a significant amount of disposable income, and with the recent launch of Hot Head we are drawing these shoppers into drug chains and other mass outlets."
