JOHNSON PRODUCTS REPORTS NET PROFITS ON HIGHER 3RD QUARTER SALES

CHICAGO, June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Johnson Products Co., Inc. (AMEX: JPC), today announced higher sales and operating profits for the three months ended May 31, 1989.

Third quarter 1989 sales increased 7 percent to $7,680,000 from $7,156,000 for the corresponding quarter last year. Net income was $121,000 or three cents per share, compared with a net loss of $308,000, or seven cents per share, for the third quarter fiscal 1988.
