Envelope printers and converters, the latest group of niche practitioners to which Printing News turns its attention, have panned the market for new opportunities and, having found some, widened the scope of services they deliver to their clients.
Consider American Envelope in Linden, N.J. Murray Nodelman, who founded the company in 1958, said he chose the envelope business because of a service gap he describes in the following way: "Equipment back then didn't print envelopes efficiently," Mr. Nodelman explains.
