Hudson FedEx unit eliminates 60 jobs
FedEx Supply Chain Services in Hudson, a logistical and transportation management unit of Memphis, Tenn.-based FedEx Corp., eliminated 60 full- and part-time administrative positions last week as part of the company's restructuring plan. Nationwide, 120 jobs were eliminated under the plan. Florian Kete, vice president of human resources in Hudson, said laid-off employees will receive severance packages and extended medical benefits. He said no other job cuts are expected.
