Australian low-cost carrier Impulse Airlines has announced that it will cease to operate scheduled air services under its own name and will instead enter into a long-term commercial relationship with Qantas, a major Australian airline.
Under the agreement with Qantas, Impulse Airlines will contract out to Qantas its eight Boeing 717 and 13 Beechcraft 1900D aircraft, including pilots and cabin crew. Impulse Airlines will operate Boeing 717 services for Qantas under the Qantas brand and livery, with routes mainly including leisure destinations such as the Gold Coast, Maroochydore and ...
