$5.5 MILLION PATIENT CARE SYSTEM AND EQUIPMENT UPGRADE
New Systems Will Double Methodist's Processing Power
CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Methodist Hospitals of Memphis, Tenn., has awarded a contract to Unisys (NYSE: UIS), valued at $5.5 million, to implement a comprehensive patient care information system for the 1,400-bed multi-site hospital. The contract includes the Unisys Professional Resource Network (PRN) 2000 Patient Care software, an A Series mainframe system and 130 PW2(TM) personal computers.
