Armada/Hoffler Holding Co. developed much of the commercial heart of Chesapeake, but now the company is leaving the city of its birth for Virginia Beach.
When the first office tower of Town Center opens in August 2002, the developer/builder will move into the mixed-use office and retail complex it is developing with Divaris Real Estate Inc. and the city of Virginia Beach across from Pembroke Mall.
It only makes sense that Armada/Hoffler would move to the Town Center, its latest and greatest development, but that doesn't make leaving home any easier.
