Culture Secretary, Chris Smith, today announced three new appointments to the independent Treasure Valuation Committee with effect from 3 May 2001. Professor Norman Palmer has been appointed as Chairman for a period of five years, and Thomas Curtis and May Sinclair have been appointed as Committee members for terms of four and three years, respectively.
