Canton's interactive TV sales operation Canton Active is aiming to combat agency ignorance of the nascent medium by launching an education initiative.
The new project, to be called IDEA (iTV Development and Education Alliance), will work with all levels of agency personnel, including planners and buyers, to try to pass on the sales house's expertise in iTV.
Agencies will be able to access Carlton Active case studies and also attend workshops covering specific areas of the medium.
To date, Carlton Active has worked on a number of major advertising campaigns for big-brand advertisers, including Unilever, Virgin Mobile and SmithKline Beecham.
