IT'S A WALK Christina Sanford won't forget.
One minute, she was enjoying an evening stroll. The next, she was surrounded by five pit bulls.
A neighbor, seeing her predicament, told her to stand still and banged on his porch until the dogs went away.
Later another Cottage Toll woman was attacked by one of the dogs in her own back yard.
Although authorities saw no signs the pit bulls were being trained for dog fights, residents of the Norfolk neighborhood were concerned.
And animal control officers don't blame them.
