LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- His trainer calls him "The Big Red Train," which instantly conjures up memories of Secretariat, the legendary 1973 Kentucky Derby and Triple Crown champion the American public embraced as "Big Red."
Point Given, a flashy chestnut colt who stands 17 hands and weighs more than 1,250 pounds, will enter the starting gate for tonight's Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs (Ch. 7, 6:07 p.m.), already anointed as the next Triple Crown winner by many in the thoroughbred world.
