Last fall, Terry Kulesa sold his house in Woodbury for $215,000 and bought a bigger one for half the price in a small town in southeastern Minnesota.
"I grew up in rural South Dakota so I had an idea it would be a lot cheaper," Kulesa said.
What he hadn't anticipated was how much he'd get for his Woodbury house, which sold in less than two weeks. The house he bought in Windom had been on the market almost six months.
Kent and Jodi Kittleson had a similar experience.
