SILAB INTRODUCES ANTI-SEBORRHEIC INGREDIENT
* Silab has developed Sebonormine, a triple-acting anti-seborrheic ingredient which controls and remedies excess oil, according to company executives. The ingredient, derived from tannic polyphenols extracted from meadowsweet, works in three ways to fight excess sebum: it inhibits the activity of the enzyme which amplifies the androgen signal responsible for hyper-seborrhea, contracts dilated pores and limits bacterial proliferation which can contribute to acne.
