Barbra Streisand has taken a few moments from her perpetual farewell tour to berate those in the Democratic Party who have taken up positions among the tall grasses. In a lengthy memo she characterizes the party's leading lights, other than herself, as "paralyzed, demoralized and depressed." The cause of their pain is President George W. Bush and the truthless Republican Party, the diva asserts. The memo, sent to top Democrats on Capitol Hill, easily can be read as a report card on Bush's early success.
