The Mariners may have hit the wall.
They just didn't have to be so literal about it.
Seattle suffered a huge scare when center fielder Mike Cameron slammed into the left-center field wall at Fenway Park last night.
Cameron bounced off the wall harder than the ball he was pursuing. It rolled. He rocked. Then he fell to the ground.
It wasn't a scene the Mariners needed to see, not with the Red Sox already ahead 10-3 en route to a 12-4 victory, the Mariners' worst beating this year. The severity of the loss will grow exponentially if Cameron is out for more than one or two games.
