May 10--The Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corp. has received a three-year grant of $887,095 to help promote up to 500 local cultural organizations to tourists.
The William Penn Foundation grant is the second-largest received by the marketing group, said its president and chief executive officer, Meryl Levitz. Two larger grants totaling $8.25 million were given by the Pew Charitable Trusts.
