WHEN RICKEY WILLIAMS and Keith Andrews of Aaro Wireless Delta LLC in Little Rock envision a market for wireless connectivity, they look beyond the obvious or even the likely. As their firm's name indicates, they're focusing on the Delta.
Williams, chief executive officer of Aaro, sees wireless technology as a way of taking on the "digital divide" -- defined by the U.S. Department of Commerce as "the concept that ... society should not be divided into information haves and information have-nots."
"We're interested in the Delta region mainly because of the lack of connectivity out there," he said. "They're getting farther and farther, behind."
