''Crising,'' now a tropical storm, continues to threaten extreme Northern Luzon.
At 4 p.m. yesterday, the center of Crising was located at 160 kilometers north-northwest of Vigan, Ilocos Sur or 120 kms northwest of Laoag City.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned residents in affected areas against possible flash floods and landslides after Crising (international name: "Cimaron") intensified yesterday into a tropical storm.
