It was 14 years in development, but it appears to have been more than well worth the wait.
It was eagerly awaited by those who will utilize it, and it was hailed by experts as an exciting new species.
It is the USDA 103 line of catfish, and it was scheduled to reach producers in February.
While it may not revolutionize the channel catfish industry, USDA 103 seems to have enough favorable characteristics that it is expected to meet wide acceptance by both producers and consumers.
